Hello and welcome to another episode of the Shame List Picture Show! I know you are all super excited for our fore coming episode on THE GODFATHER, but sadly it is being postponed yet again. This is our Seinfeld episode! No, we aren’t talking about Seinfeld, we’re doing an episode about nothing… sorta. We aren’t deep diving on a movie but we are discussing the topic of guilty pleasures. That being said, we don’t truly believe in guilty pleasures as we don’t think you should feel any shame for what you enjoy. So grab some headphones, wrap up in a cozy blanket, and listen on!

Michael also sits down to talk about the Vinegar Syndrome release of L.M. Kit Carson’s THE AMERICAN DREAMER (1971) starring Dennis Hopper, and the Mill Creek Entertainment releases of Brian Gilbert’s VICE VERSA (1988) starring Judge Reinhold and Fred Savage and Seth Holt’s SCREAM OF FEAR (1961).

About Michael Viers

Michael Viers is an independent filmmaker, podcaster, and editor from Milwaukee, WI. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee's prestigious film program with a BFA. While attending UWM Michael directed the award-winning short film From the Darkness Theatre which won awards at various festivals and played at the Short Film Corner at Cannes. Since then he's made music videos and directed two other films, Love You Still for Milwaukee Film and Do You Love Me which was written by Milwaukee musician Valerie Lightheart when she was still in High School. Michael is also a Producer and Co-Host of the film podcast the Shame List Picture Show. Michael likes to brag that he used to edit videos for Troma Entertainment and is texting buddies with Lloyd Kaufman, but no one really cares.
