Welcome back to the city beneath the black sun. Found in a dark world, surrounded by an endless desert filled with countless threats, a man has forged a kingdom out of madness, and will do anything to keep it standing. But madness has a way of taking back its own, especially in a strange and hostile land where terror and wonder wait behind every corner.
Not every good deed gets rewarded. If you’re Terry, and you’ve just risked your life to save the entire city from a giant rampaging monster, your “Thank You” is watching your best friend die, your world falling apart, and being locked in a cage and forced to fight more monsters for the entertainment of a braying crowd.
But just when Terry is ready to embrace a rest, in whatever tragic form it takes, he comes face to face with a new threat, a being that forces him to reevaluate everything he thought, knew, or accepted.
