Fat Girl Hacks is a bi-weekly, body-positive podcast. FGH discusses living life as a fat chick – the strengths, the struggles and the good times that come along with living the fat life. The Hackers take an opinionated, unapologetic, and funny look at fat current events and pop culture. Jaime, Meghan and Nina, will share honest stories about their own trials, tribulations and triumphs while navigating life in a larger body.
In this episode of FGH, the ladies are still fat. This week they’re talking horror movies. The gals notice that fat people are missing from mainstream horror, except in cases of villains and first ones dead. FGH asks the age old question – Does Shallow Hal count as a horror film? Nina gives up during every possible end-of-the-world-zombie-apocalypse scenario. The ladies introduce listeners to “Corpse wax”; It’s more than adiposure, it can also be a cheap, “personal” diy holiday gift. Jaime fangirls over The Ghost Hunters. Meghan pleads with ghosts to finally take out Zak Bagans. (of course that’s how he spells Zak.) The Fat Girl Hack of the week is all about Halloween costumes. Also, Nina joins a cult.
