Welcome to the city beneath the black sun. Lost in a dark world, surrounded by an endless desert filled with countless threats, the citizens still standing are forced to make a life for themselves in a strange and hostile land where terror and wonder wait behind every corner.
Within the city beneath the black sun, there is one person with as many secrets as the city itself. Her name is Cassandra, and she has long patrolled the city armed with a sickle blade and wearing her red hood. She has become a figure of both adulation and consternation for those people and forces within the city, lending help to the hopeless and mocking those emissaries of the man McRae who seek for some unknown reason.
But Cassandra is missing. A mission went wrong and she has vanished into the shadows.
Now, at last, we will learn just not only where Cassandra went, but where she came from…and what kind of horrors may lay in wait for her and the city entire.
