The Carnage Report Bonus Episode: The Gate Double Feature

On this episode of the podcast, we ended up with a couple of installments of the Gate, wherein we talk with horror creators about what first got them into the genre, and we didn’t want them to get too old, so here’s a Valentine’s Day present from us to you.

First up is writer/director Ian Courtney, discussing his new slasher, Movie Theater Massacre, now available via VOD. In it, a group of employees are working their last week at a movie theater that is going out of business when a mysterious figure begins to murder people. Our second and final installment of this special bonus episode is with director Elric Kane and stars Blu Hunt and Ben Smith-Petersen of the new erotic horror film, The Dead Thing, which begins streaming on Shudder starting Valentine’s Day, February 14. In it, a young woman lost in a series of meaningless connections falls in love with a charismatic and sensitive man, who hides a dark secret that turns her affair into a dangerous obsession.
